Paulo Freire is one of the 14 statements that organize the 34th edition of the Bienal, reverberating issues which are at the core of the mediation work in the exhibition, as dialogicity and autonomy. The educator and philosopher is the 53rd person honoured by the Ocupação Itaú Cultural.
In the centenary of his birthday, the exhibition shows his trajectory and practice for a liberation pedagogy. The Ocupação will count as well with a website (available from 18 September) which will bring a series of contents and information in addition to the ones found in the physical space, and a printed and digital publication. Know more about it here.
The exhibition is part of the 34th Bienal partner institutions.
